Reno Design

Reno Design is a graphic design consultancy based in Chippendale, Sydney. Strategic design services are provided to clients in diverse areas, including finance, arts, events,
nfp, health, industrial, cosmetics, food and publishing.

We create, produce and manage business and publishing projects, visual identities, consumer and specialist packaging design, events design, signage, web design. We undertake print and project management for single items or multi-faceted projects.

Reno Design is also a specialist book design consultancy. We have produced over 1,000 titles over 20 years for international, national and independent publishers and institutions on a range of books for either boutique and consumer markets. As well as design services, we provide advice for editorial, publication (conventional print, short-run print, eBooks), distribution and promotion. We produce books, catalogues, magazines, calendars, diaries and limited edition projects. 

Project management services are provided for all projects. This includes commissioning
of suppliers in creative, print, production and other areas. The more engaged we are in project development, then the optimum quality of a project can be maintained.

Reno Design, Chippendale

Graham Rendoth 

Graham is creative director and founder of Reno Design, Sydney. He has a BA Design (Visual Communications) from Sydney College of the Arts, 1975–1978.

He has, independently or in partnership, headed design practices since 1978. Before establishing Reno Design in 1989 he freelanced and consulted in branding, publication design, and illustration. He was in-house designer for the Sydney Opera House for 5 years (1979–1984), and Head of Design with Billy Blue Group for 2 years (1984–1986).

Graham has been involved in the establishment and/or administration of design organisations, educational institutions and related arts industry bodies. These include: Viscopy (Australia’s first copyright collecting agency for visual artists), AGDA (NSW vice-president, Education Committee leader), NSW Board of Secondary Studies (consultative committee for the establishment of years K–12 Technology and Design courses).

He is a member of the Australian Graphic Design Association (AGDA), The Galley Club
of Australia and Viscopy (Copyright Agency), and has lectured in design and design business at several institutions, most recently Billy Blue College of Design, Sydney.

Graham also researches and publishes on design and graphic history in Australia.
